Avarni product update – March 2025

New native Excel export with built-in formulas, plus upgraded reporting tools streamline carbon data workflows in Avarni’s March 2025 release.

Avarni product update – March 2025

Transform auditability of emissions data with native Excel exporting

We’re about to release a major upgrade to exporting capabilities out of Avarni!

Previously, data in the emissions hub could only be exported in CSV (comma-separated-values) form. This limited the ability to continue to edit this data in Excel, combine it with other data, and understand the exact methodology of calculation & conversion factors used.

Avarni - Download as Excel

Soon, you will be able to export native Excel worksheets out of Avarni, with the following powerful features:

  • Separate worksheets for emissions, factors, FX & inflation rates, unit conversion rates and GWP values - all source data is laid out in an easy to navigate way
  • Built-in calculation formulas and XLOOKUPs, ensuring you can see exactly how emissions were calculated from the source data
  • Validation drop-downs for scopes, GHG categories & factors, allowing you to change categorisations and play around with factor mappings
